The newest event is a step by Krafton to build an esports eco-system in India. The tournament has a massive prizepool of INR 1 crore and will run for over three months.
In addition, the company has published a bunch of policies to participants in the BGMI event. This is what everyone must know:
The three-month event is separated into various stages such as-
In-game qualifiers- Each enrolled team must play 15 matches and 10 of the greatest matches for qualifications will be taken into consideration. For another round, the leading 1024 teams would participate.
Online Qualifiers- This round are split into 3 stages (Stage 1, 2 and, 3). In every stage 2 games are played and several squads are relegated in every stage. For another round, the leading 64 teams would participate.
Quarter-Finals- All 64 teams are categorized into four sections. A total of six games are played for each section. The top four squads will compete for semi-finals in every section. The rest of the 12 teams are demoted to Losers Bracket and will have one more opportunity to enter in the tournament.
Semi-final- In semi-finals throughout a period of three days, the 24 teams picked in the quarter-finals would fight one another. The organization showed that 16 highest-scoring teams will be competing in the Tournament Finals.
Grand-Finals- There are a number of 20 games to select the winner across a span of 4 days.
